The utilization of Photographic Methods In Chromolithography were
first experimented on in the year 1841 in America & in Ireland.
In the case of these chromolithographs, which is the alliance
of the camera and the lithographic stone, plate, etc., there was
usually a coat of varnish added. These are often times called "GLOSSY'S".
This is an Authentic 100+ year old Limited Edition Antique Color
Glossy Print which is unattributed, author and/or publishing company
is unknown, never-the-less, it is NOT A COPY. Copies lack the collectibility
and resale value of an authentic antique print. Copies also can
not give you the pleasure and satisfaction of owning a real piece
of 19th Century Art: Colonial couples, courting. White haired lady
is standing behind a stone wall fence while her suiter, beneath
her hands her a bouquet of flowers. She is wearing a blue &
white dress. Her suiter is wearing a hot pink & yelow outfit,
blue short pants & yellow knee-hi's and a dark hat.
The images of these prints are watermarked on the internet. The
actual prints are not watermarked at all. Each print is sold and arrives in a custom sized double
matt inside a beautiful solid American oak frame.
